Your Creative Journey - Through Pastel A Course in Creative Empowerment and Artistic Mastery Workshops with Marjie Eakin-Petty |
|
Remember; that which you are seeking is also seeking you. The un-painted paintings, the un-written words, the faint melody of your next song is calling to you, drawing you toward it. And we are always at the choice point of whether we'll listen and heed the call and take action toward it and rendezvous with our own creative destiny or distract with busy-ness or talking it away. Sometimes guidance is the next right step toward your creative dreams to be realized. Let me be your guide and join us on the creative path toward your full expression and fulfillment.
Description: Learn the principles of creating vibrant landscapes, utilizing the medium of pastel and infuse your artwork with dynamic light and color. Enjoy the process of connecting with your own creative expression while learning the fundamentals of pastel painting in a fun and relaxed environment.
These two day, indoor workshops focus on discovering your own path to inspiration while learning how to capture the essence of excitement in the landscape. Each day begins with a time of gathering and sharing of your own creative journey, and brief exercises to stimulate your creative fire and inspire your life as an artist. Marjie is very encouraging and creates a safe environment for everyone to learn and express themselves. Her talent as a fine artist and wisdom as a teacher come together beautifully in her weekend workshop. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn a great deal about painting with pastels in a short amount of time. I've always enjoyed being out in nature and now I have a whole new appreciation for landscape art from its values and hues to its contrast and intensity. Thank you Marjie for being such a great teacher! - Carol Gutzeit
